| Gregg J. Sedun - LLB Position: Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sedun is an independent venture capital professional based out of Vancouver, Canada with over 25 years of mining & industry-related experience. Upon graduating from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB), he practiced corporate finance/securities & mining law in Vancouver for 15 years until retiring frm law in 1997. Thereafter, he was President of another private venture capital firm for seven years and President & CEO of Diamond Fields International Ltd., a TSX-listed company, for over two years. Mr. Sedun has played a significant role as founder or director in a number of successful companies including Diamond Fields Resources Inc. (sold to Inco for $4.3 billion in the largest takeover of a junior mining company in Canadian history), Adastra Minerals Inc. (sold to First Quantum Minerals in 2006 for $275 million), Peru Copper Inc. (sold to Chinalco in 2007 in an all-cash $840 million takeover), and Geovic Mining Corp., which is developing a world- class cobalt/nickel mine in Cameroon, Africa (raised over $100 million of equity in its first year as a public company). Mr. Sedun is also President & CEO of Global Vision Capital Corp., an independent venture capital firm, and Executive Chairman of Goldgroup Mining Inc., a TSX-listed company which is currently producing 25-30,000 oz AuEq annually at its Cerro Colorado mine in Mexico. Goldgroup also has mineral resources totalling approximately 1.50 million AuEq oz plus the potential to considerably increase these resources from its portfolio of highly prospective properties. |
